Sigh, Cal and Abra. One of my favorite OTPs. He’s the black sheep of his family, she’s engaged to his goody two-shoes brother, but is obviously into Cal, and she GETS him and gets that life isn’t black and white, and…sigh. Again. Some more. Seriously, go watch this movie. Or let me embrace my inner English teacher and tell you to read the damn book.
(And yes, this is where Cal in the HEX HALL series gets his name.)
For the confused people on my dash, Eurovision is an event where all the European countries have a musician and a song and they all battle it out like the Hunger Games. Only one will come out alive. They will become King of Europe and control the EU and everyone has to speak that language for the year until next Eurovision.

I’m always kind of torn on whether or not I want Jon and Dany to end up together at the end of ASoIaF. On the one hand, those two DO seem like they’re on parallel paths that will become a collision course. On the other, it seems SO obvious, so I’m not sure I want it to go there.
And then I think that Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke are stupid-pretty and it might be nice to see them make out, so there you go. Team Jonerys. #Shallow

AnonymousNo title yet! It had one, but no one was 100% sold on it (myself included), so we’re still thinking title thoughts. I am the World’s Worst Maker of Titles, BTW (REBEL BELLE is the only one I’ve ever come up with), so I mostly let my publisher worry about it. :)
Wait. So the spin-off series doesn't have Sophie, Archer, Jenna, Ghost-of-Cal, Ghost-of-Elodie, Sophie's Mom and Dad. etc?? WHY? :'( No Archer?? I shall die.. O.O
I figure it’s time to let those guys rest a little. :) There’s really no more story for them! And while Archer may be gone, I have a whole new slew of Cute Boys coming up… ;)
Hi Mrs. Hawkins, I'm a huge fan of your books (like, huge=obsessive=totallyinlovewitharcher) and I was wondering if you were going to write any short stories involving Archer and Sophie and maybe Jenna in college. 'Cause I would kiss my computer screen if that's even remotely close to what you're working on!
Haha! First off, thank you!! And secondly, I never say never. :) The spin-off series MAY feature the occasional cameo form those guys (nothing in the 1st book, but maybe later!) I love the idea of Sophie, Archer. and Jenna all dealing with college, so it’s always possible I’ll write some “treats” for readers. Have to meet all these deadlines first! ;)
